The short version
We do not receive your files. Every tool on this site processes files inside your browser, so images, PDFs and QR content are never transmitted to us and never stored by us. What follows describes the limited data we do handle.
Files you process
Files you add to the image compressor, PDF toolkit or QR generator are read by JavaScript running on your own device, held in your device's memory while the tool works, and written back to your device when you download the result. No copy is sent to our servers, because the tools do not contact our servers to do their work.
This is verifiable rather than promised: open your browser's developer tools, select the network tab, and use any tool on this site.
Information we do collect
Server logs. Our web host records standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user agent, referring page. These are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and are retained for a limited period by the host.
Analytics. If enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. It records page views, approximate location by country and device type. It does not receive your files.
Forms. If you use the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we receive what you type — your name, email address and message. We use it to reply to you and, for the newsletter, to send occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Advertising
This site is funded by advertising. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and control third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Because we hold so little — essentially form submissions and newsletter subscriptions — most such requests are simple to fulfil. Write to hello@example.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our forms, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
