Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask about how these tools work and what happens to their files.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Every tool runs in your browser. Files are read from your device, processed in memory and saved back to your device. You can verify this in your browser's network tab — no request carries your file.

Do I need an account?

There are no accounts on this site at all. No sign-up, no login, no email required to download a result.

Is it really free, or is there a catch?

Free, with no usage counter and no watermark. The site is funded by advertising, which is why you see ad slots in the margins. Ads never appear inside a tool or between you and a download.

What are the file size limits?

Images: up to 25 MB each, 30 at a time. PDFs: up to 100 MB each, 20 at a time. These keep the browser responsive; they are not server limits.

Which browsers work?

Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave or Opera on desktop or mobile. JavaScript must be enabled. Options your browser cannot support — such as WebP export on very old versions — are hidden automatically.

Does the site work offline?

Once a tool page has loaded, the processing itself needs no connection. Reloading the page does require one.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. You keep every right you had in the original file. QR codes generated here are static and belong to you outright.

Why is my file bigger after compressing?

Usually because the source was already efficiently compressed and re-encoding added overhead, or because you converted a flat-colour graphic into a photographic format. Try a different output format, or keep the original.

Do you use cookies?

One session cookie for form security, plus advertising cookies if you accept them. Details are in the cookies policy.

How do I report a bug or request a tool?

Use the contact form. Tell us the browser and the file type, and we can usually reproduce it.
